The Web600 will monitor our cabin's temperature, AC power, windows & doors.
It will even email me or send a cell phone instant message if all is not good!
I will be reviewing it and reporting on it once I get it installed the fourth week of July.

Every 20 seconds the image above will change if you hit the refresh button [F-5] on your computer. The camera is a Toshiba IK-WB21A approximately 12 feet above ground in an enclosed blower- heated dome enclosure. You can actually see it in the Netcam1 pic at the top of the image. It looks like a street light on a 4"x6"x16' treated pole. It can rotate 360 degrees with the only blind spot being behind the mounting pole. With the nighttime exposure currently set at four seconds it is extremely sensitive, but moving objects will blur at night. The camera is not supposed to take images while moving, but I have seen that it sometimes does with some Psychedelic results! We are now uploading four hi-resolution cameras over our jamaPeferred DSL connection (6mbps down / 1mbps upload speed). Join me in watching the snow pile up against the roof. Because of the bandwidth required and all your hits in the winter months, we incur costs of approximately $200 per month for this web site.
